WHAT IS SYS (Society of Young Scientists)?
Society of Young Scientists is a school organization/club from Doña Hortencia Salas Benedicto National High School - Senior High School. It envisions senior high school students who pursue the truth through scientific thinking, advocate environment conservation, and strive to address the community's needs.
The primary purpose of the Society of Young Scientists is to organize activities for its members and to educate the Doña Hortencia Salas Benedicto National High School Senior High School community on science and environment-related topics. These activities will focus on, but not be restricted to;
a. development of science process skills
b. active environment conservation
c. educating the community on environment conservation through systematic and scientific approaches
d. appreciating and proper stewardship of God-given resources
